  • Dan plans to put search goals/roadmap on-wiki once he is done with annual reviews.
    • Dan will do this afternoon
  • FDC review: Interactive plans were good, but metrics for success were slightly underdefined - Tomasz/Yuri to talk about that.
    • Made progress. Maps team will work with Katie.
  • FDC Comments about coordination of analysis across the organisation were raised - Dan should investigate.
    • Seems to be being handled outside of Discovery (Dario)
    • Dario is moving towards making the Research_FAQ on officewiki public to try to alleviate this
    • Dan read over this FAQ and its characterisation of Discovery’s responsibilities and ways to get us to do things seem accurate to him
  • Katie Horn will be Head of Discovery.
  • Dan on vacation from 2nd June until 21st June (inclusive)

Announcements, Information, Questions[edit]

  • Katie will be in SF on Thursday and Friday, June 2 and 3. There will be free time to meet between 1:30 and 4:30 on Friday, probably openly on the 5th floor. Add time to Katie’s calendar if you have different ideas.
  • Submit any outstanding expense reports ASAP! (Fiscal year is ending)
    • For search offsite, send to Katie and Dan
  • Today is the last day to register with a big discount for the world maps conference in Brussels
