About the pre-summit meetup

The goal of the pre-summit meetup is for attendees to meet with each other before the developer summit, discuss project ideas, develop teams and ask any general questions about the summit. Participation in this event is optional and having a project idea or a team before the summit is not mandatory. It is an EXPERIMENT and an attempt by organizers to help participants engage in discussions and connect with each other before the summit.

Bring project ideas, requests for help, questions, and come prepared to share them with your fellow attendees and event organizers.

Date and time: Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 10 am PST – 11:30 am PST

Meetup agenda

10:00 - 10:15 am - Event agenda and logistics overview from WMF members

10:15 - 10:25 am - In the Unhangout platform lobby, participants get a chance to propose topics for projects or features they would like to build on the Get Stuff Done Day.

10:25 - 11:00 am - People talk about their project ideas in small breakout groups (G+ hangout)

11:00 - 11:30 am - People convene in the platform lobby. General Q&A about the summit takes place.
