Launched the 25th Birthday Reading Challenge on Android and iOS, including challenge enrollment, widgets, app store events, central notice promotion, instrumentation, and post-launch improvements. The team addressed onboarding and usability issues, monitored early participation metrics, and observed increased account creation and positive community feedback during the challenge period, and user experience improvement. Solved the bugs of:
- Reading challenge widgets appear cut off when there is a long text section. T424076
- Reading challenge widgets appearing cutoff on small screen iPhone (SE). T424072
- Reading challenge full sheet freezes when displayed. T426094

The reading challenge was released into Beta, and was tested internally. The launch date is May 11, 2026.

- Research was done into Widgets in Android. T418623
iOS development started, and is being coordinated on this sub-epic T418949
The Communications team is planning to mention the reading challenge in several promotional materials for the apps, including a blog post, banners, and social posts.
