OPW Proposal (work in progress)
Join the GSoC & OPW IRC meeting
Hi! The community bonding period is over, and you should have started working on your project. In addition to the strict work, you are required to report frequently, see the details at the GSoC or OPW pages.
The Engineering Community team is organizing a Q&A session for all participants (mentors included) tomorrow Tuesday at connect, see Engineering Community Team/Meetings/2014-05-20. See you there!--Qgil (talk) 21:57, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
I am proposing a project at UIC (international union of railways) based on Semantic Mediawiki, and I have a prototype going (ontorail.org) decribing it shortly.
I am using RDFIO that basically gets the job done, great. However, there are some apparent issues with RDFIO, including:
- multiple-valued properties: only the last value is retained;
- application of templates: fails; the properties remain outside, in the free text zone;
for which I could find no documentation.
If the problems are genuine and if there is no quick fix, I'd like to have your views about going on here. By the way, I envisage to host up a Fall 2019 SMW conference in Paris - this is being discussed with Lex Sulzer and others - and you might be interested in participating; if so please tell me!
