Update Extension:SaferHTMLTag doc
[edit]Hi, if you fixed the issue with Extension:SaferHTMLTag then remove the security alert tag. Waddie96 (talk) 19:40, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- It is not entirely fixed and I dot not believe it is possible to account for all cases given MediaWiki's architecture. Being 100% secure is also not that extension's goal. It simply act as a stopgap measure to prevent novice users from editing pages that have the html tag in them (hence the "safer" and not "safe" in the name).
- I believe the banner could be removed and replaced with a warning. What are your thoughts ? Tinss (talk) 15:52, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Semantic ACL broken since SMW 5.0
[edit]Hello,
Are you still maintaining Semantic ACL? It's broken since SMW 5.0. ⚓ T392202 Error: Class "SMWDIWikiPage" not found Lyrixn (talk) 09:48, 5 August 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, I am still maintaining it but our setup has not migrated to SMW 5.0. Any chance you could provide a fix in gerrit ? I'll gladly approve it. Tinss (talk) 17:38, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
Re: PWA
[edit]Hi Tinss,
Hope you are doing well. Here is a copy of my message on another talk page about the PWA extension.
- If you have time to explain me how to program that notifications feature, I would like to implement it. I am new to mediawiki extensions but not new to PHP or programming. If you agree to help me get started with this, then, I will let you know when I installed it in my test wiki.
I appreciate your time and consideration, and looking forward to your reply.

- Hello, I've replied on the extension's talk page. I realized I had not subscribed to the thread which is why you had to go to my talk page. Don't hesitate to do so in the future I am not responding quickly enough. Tinss (talk) 06:27, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
