mediawiki retrive data from backup

hello,

somehow our live server of mediawiki website is down, we have backup but some how not able to setup it, after we setup that backup it gives errors, maybe database or code currupted,

is that any way that we can retrive possible data we can from that backup and move to new setup?

we have there added many pages so we are trying to back them pages.

please let us know if have some solution for this.
