- Of course. The point I was trying to make (in probably a clumsy manner) was that when one does not entirely know what is correct information, one should engage in a discussion before fiddling around with the base pages. Jean-Lou Dupont 17:01, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Like wordpress comments extension[edit]

message customization[edit]
In your edits on Cite, you seem to encourage people to customize system messages by hacking the defaults in the code, rather than using the interface to modify the messages in the MediaWiki namespace, which would break if the follow this and ever upgrade the software. I think it would be better to avoid terms like lines and quoting things from the code that would give them the wrong idea, and just refer to them as messages. -Steve Sanbeg 18:50, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
