I was wondering what approach you favor for task T157826

Do you favor keeping it as a wikipage, and having TitleBlacklist-style options, or turning it into a special page like Special:Interwiki?

Also, do you have any interest in doing a code review if I implement this, or do you know of someone who might? Thanks, Setian~mw (talk) 09:54, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello Setian~mw. Thanks for your message. I'd favor for {Spam,Title}Blacklist to turn them into special pages with powerful edit tools as well. I'll comment on the task. With regards to code review, my activities on gerrit ranges from very simple code reviews to janitorial activities (archiving repos, config changes, etc.), but Developers/Maintainers does list maintainers per extension. Oh, I just saw your comment from 2016, "I think this will be a more modern way to handle URL blacklisting. I very much support this." I posted some follow-up comments to that thread about implementation ideas. I'm thinking that for code review I may try Spam Blacklist project members Legoktm and Jackmcbarn, and some other possible suspects.
By the way, does Phabricator have a way of sending PMs, or is MediaWiki.org, or email, the best way to reach people one-on-one these days? I guess I can try to /msg people on IRC. (Heh, I'm using you for rubber duck debugging today) Thanks, Setian~mw (talk) 17:48, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gerrit repo

Hello! I have no idea how to comment on, edit or remove my request for a repository in gerrit. For my request for toolforge/tools/ingress-admission-controller, can we simply delete it? I can pursue the whole issue separately. BStorm (WMF) (talk) 15:20, 11 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

@BStorm (WMF): Good morning, Ma'am. The request is at the bottom of Gerrit/New repositories/Requests/Entries. I'll mark is as withdrawn for you per your message above. Is there anything I can do, notwithstanding, to help you with that? I can create repos, it's just deviating from the already-existing scheme what makes me doubt if I, personally, should be doing it. Request for video-cut-tool-back-end gerrit repo

Hi MarcoAurelio,

This labs/tools/VideoCutTool provides front-end services to the VideoCutTool which is hosted here and I'm requesting for the labs/tools/video-cut-tool-back-end Gerrit repo as this provides the back-end services to the VideoCutTool, As this back-end is required for all the video computations (trim, crop..), This is also hosted here.
