Hey, where you able to figure out how to display numbers in equations? (Related to this post: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension_talk:CrossReference)
I'm having the same issue so if you could help me out I would appreciate it.

I am using something along those lines, bit quirky and redundant but seems to work (note I but the number before the equation).
