I saw that you are the lead developer of this patch, this is why I take the liberty of contacting you.
I am integrating Keycloak with MediaWiki for my friends group. We have a common project altogether. We also have an LDAP system to manage and synchronize users. I'm using Keycloak as an OIDC IDP to authenticate on MediaWiki with the extensions PluggableAuth and OpenID Connect. Everything works fine except authentication as a user declared as an admin in the LDAP system. MediaWiki cannot recognize the user as an admin and give simple user permissions.
I saw your comments on the other thread but I still have issues with my configuration.
I would like to manage permissions directly from Keycloak. Indeed, I'd like a user to authenticate on MediaWiki through Keycloak following LDAP grousp, or at least Keycloak permissions.
Is it possible to do that and if yes, how can I do it?
