I like it overall really well thought out thank you. The more I think about it the more I think we may need to adjust it to be private (probably still to a special page either on the same wiki or a different one) instead of public. Making it public would be awesome but it brings about a whole new set of problems because once you make it public you need to find a way to allow admins to hide ('delete') comments that are inappropriate and oversighters (higher elected users able to remove content from even admin view) to delete the content from admin view (oversight). I've noticed in multiple cases over the past couple months that this part is actually pretty difficult and not usually easy to just use old code. Given that we may want to set it up as private (perhaps users with a specific user right).

I think there are a couple other extensions you may want to look at (not necessarily now) which could be a lot of help:

  • Community Hiring which was a private extension created when we ran a banner asking if people wanted to work for the foundation. They filled out the application on wikimediafoundation.org and then certain staff (only a couple with the user right) could view the applications on a separate staff wiki. That could be an interesting one to look at for ideas on how to do that.
  • WikiLove obviously is another great one because it has an awesome interface to pop up and ask for information. Maybe you could even hook into it somehow... at least a thought
