Help:Extension:Translate/Configuration

Při překladu mi vznikl problém. Všechno jde do češtiny,jenom text překopírovaný z Translate.php v odstavci nebo spíš bloku "Configuration variables" zůstává v anličině, Což je u překládané stránky trušku na nic. Šlo by s tím něco udělat? BenyElbis (talk) 15:58, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

Nevím, zase na druhou stranu když to je překopírované z Translate.php, tak když s tím teď něco vyvedu, tak se to při aktualizaci/při příštím kopírování z Translate.php zase přemaže zpátky na angličtinu. Vím, že je to naprd překládat začátek stránky a pak nic. Asi by bylo nejlepší napsat o tom do diskusní stránky k Help:Extension:Translate/Configuration. Dvorapa (talk) 16:03, 16 April 2020 (UTC)

docela by bylo vhodné v příkladu v odstavci #time v tabulce vpravo, místo polštiny uvést u měsíce - řádek "xg" český příklad

V té samé tabulce je pár nevhodných příkladů. Tím, že jsou odvozovány od skutečného času, tak u přílkadů s doplněnou nulou po většinu času nebude doplněna nula. Navrhuji v těchto příkladech uvést příklady natvrdo s doplněnou nulou BenyElbis (talk) 05:26, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

Tohle asi nepůjde. U jazyků, které nemají pády by nebyla vidět v ukázce žádná změna. Muselo by se zjišťovat, zda čtenář čte stránku v jednom z předepsaných jazyků a to by bylo až příliš moc složité na to, že je to jen ukázka. Ta polština je prostě snadné řešení.

Co se týče té doplněné nuly, nejsem si jistý změnou ani tady. Bylo by potřeba upravit i nedoplňované ukázky pro srovnání a nejspíše si vymýšlet datum/čas v celé tabulce pro konzistenci. Ale to by se muselo asi nejprve prodiskutovat v diskusi stránky (Help talk:Extension:ParserFunctions). Dvorapa (talk) 08:56, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

Je tady označena k překladu stránka Template:MediaWiki News nevím jak na to BenyElbis (talk) 20:19, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

Stejně jako jsem psal minule, stránka je překládána starým způsobem jako celek. Vytvoří se podstránka /cs, zkopíruje se do ní obsah stránky a přeloží se. Dvorapa (talk) 20:33, 20 April 2020 (UTC)

Oprávnění ano. Na stránce Template:MediaWiki News se klikne na view source a zkopíruje se obsah, na stránce Template:MediaWiki News/cs se klikne na Create a obsah se vloží. Přeloží se vše, co není nějaká speciální značka nebo šablona a je to. Tahle stránka je ale často měněna, takže podle mého v češtině být nemusí, protože je to pak potřeba sledovat a pravidelně aktualizovat a dopřekládat podle zdroje. Configuration variables - nemůžu přeložit. Jak zjistím, jestli to taky není šablona?

Ano, text, který není těmito značkami obalen, přeložit nejde. Obalit to může prakticky kdokoliv, je však potřeba umět text obalovat správně a používat také <tvar> pro obalení nepřeložitelných částí. Nakonec to vše stejně musí před překladem odsouhlasit správce překladů (např. já). Danou sekci bych nepřekládal. Má nahoře uvedeno, že je ve výstavbě (draft section), čili se ještě bude hodně měnit a není ještě oficiální. Dvorapa (talk) 12:39, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Na stránce Want (u každého uživatele) je vlevo tlačítko Email this user. Další, co využívám já, je Translate content tlačítko, taky vlevo na všech stránkách, tak je možné si vypsat statistiky nepřeložených, zastaralých, důležitých. Já pak rád překládám stránky, které mají skoro 100 % (třeba 95 %) nebo věci označené tam jako důležité. Dvorapa (talk) 13:35, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Nojo, ale v Translante content jsou stránky (hlavně Categori), které po překladu robot smaže. Viz můj souboj ze včerejška. Už jsem přišel taky na to, že je dobré překládat to v čem už někdo začal. Já jsem jenom těma krátkýma chtěl pro české překlady zvýšit statistický počet přeložených stránek. Chyba. Zastaralé průběžně čistím a ty s podtržítkem na začátku taky. Zprávu jsem dostal. Pokud jste dopřekládal stránky z toho seznamu, tak opravdu klobouk dolů před vámi! Připravit stránku k překladu není úplně triviální a momentálně mám hlavu úplně jinde, protože nutně potřebuji dodělat tutoriál pro studenty, aby věděli jak se dá vzdáleně pracovat v laboratořích. Tyto Základní instalační pokyny jsou překládány také postaru? Můžu je přeložit? Jak vůbec poznám, co překládat postaru a co ještě není připraveno k překladu po novém. Teda ne že by nebylo co překládat. Ale když mne něco zaujme. I had a question, maybe you can help me: I know that by using the -summary parameter we can set up a specific message to appear on all our edit's summaries. Currently there is no way to modify the default messages. Either you can give your own message with -summary option or auto summary message is used. But you can file a feature request at Phabricator to propose the implementation modifying the generic summary.  @xqt 06:21, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

This is what I get when I try to use it on a random page on SqQuote which has been changed specifically to include the needed string for testing purposes. As you can see, the command gets included as a literal text string on the summary.

How do I update my bot? How do I check for my current version? I run it through Toolforge and, judging by what I read at this page: Help:Toolforge/Pywikibot when I started dealing with this thing, I'm supposedly always running the latest version automatically, no? And I was thinking that to be honest but then I thought that everything else works nearly just the same between the two methods so that wouldn't be a problem. But I still suspected it and that's why I posted the whole thing that I was using. Turns out it was a good idea.

So, is there any chance to make it work with fixes aswell soon? I need the list of fixes because I have around 40k regexes to make and I don't want to double the list for every wikiproject that I activate my bot on. Using fixes allows me to have 1 single list for every wikiproject.

No there is no chance to implement it with fixes msg because you can use multiple -fix options in the same run which would duplicate the description. The only way is to enable the -summary option even if msg keys are given. Currently you can remove the msg key from fixes setting.  @xqt 04:22, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

I'm pushing in unknown territory here but can't you use the "msg" part of the command as an anchor and basically make it work with that? No matter how many fix options you have, the msg part will be the same in all of them, won't it?
