Dear Dominik Maus, Welcome to MediaWiki.org!

Yes, welcome! This site is dedicated to documenting the MediaWiki software, the software behind many wikis, including that of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Foundation projects.
Please, take a look at the following pages. They might prove useful to you as a newcomer here:

LinkSuggest on MediaWiki 1.25[edit]

Hi Dominik, thank you for testing out LinkSuggest on MediaWiki 1.25 and sorry to hear that it didn't work. I don't know much about WikiEditor because it's an extension I intentionally avoid as much as possible, but it seems reasonable that it could interfere with LinkSuggest. The git master version of LinkSuggest (dated 1 May 2015) does, however, work for me on my local 1.25 instance.

As for the LOWER()/CONVERT() stuff, I could try to find someone with sufficient SQL knowledge to look at that and provided that the fix won't cause any issues, I'd be happy to submit it.

As for the JavaScript part, you'll want to contact Ciencia Al Poder about that. He's the original author of the JS part and as such, he should be able help you out with it.

Thanks again for taking the time to report the bugs you spotted! :) --Jack Phoenix (Contact) 23:33, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
