Re Transwiki-Echo error[edit]
Hello AuFCL, Sorry for responding on your talk page, I don't see how I can answer to this. Feel free to transfer this post to over there. Actually I also thought to have changed the topic title to something useful, and almost missed your reply as it was already marked as visited on my watchlist… Anyway: Of course I am using NoScript, but with WMF-Wikis allowed. Browser console only showed requests to my home wiki's /w/api.php?action=centralauthtoken&format=json, no warnings or anything. Well, turned out the message was actually on itwikisource, which didn't yet make it to my whitelist. After adding it it works.
I'm not sure if that type of error can be identified in the script, but if it's possible I'm suggesting to change the error message to something sounding less like "something in the internal server-to-server-communication didn't work" :-) --Nenntmichruhigip (talk) 10:40, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

- @Nenntmichruhigip: No problem. I was struggling a bit myself to post that message anyway—I'm a bit rusty with Flow, and am finding some of the "intuitive" menus not quite that.) In my own case NoScript wasn't the blocking extension but Privacy Badger was instead. I agree the message is poor and misleading but as I am not in a position to really influence the developers the best I can suggest is making a comment at the trouble ticket whilst it is still attracting some attention.
- I have taken your suggestions regarding pasting an extract of your reply back to Topic:T016hdzng8vfemkj and of changing the topic title from "some topic title" to "Denial of access to remote domain?" which I hope describes the situation better. Should I have called it "Fehler Der Zugriff auf die Remote-Domäne wurde abgelehnt." perhaps, as that was the error message as you first reported it? AuFCL (talk) 11:46, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
