Dear Ajraddatz, Welcome to MediaWiki.org!

Yes, Welcome! This site is dedicated to the documentation of the MediaWiki software, the software behind many wikis, including that of Wikipedia and the Wikimedia Foundation projects.
Please, take a look at the following pages. They might prove useful to you as a newcomer here:

If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and find this site a beneficial documentation of the MediaWiki software.

Spam? Why?[edit]

I just joined MediaWiki and added my User page and you immediately deleted it as SPAM! Why?! I was using my User: page to introduce myself and explain where I used MediaWiki. It seems extreme to delete my User: page as SPAM ...

Your userpage linked to a website, including in the edit summary. We often have spambots doing the same thing, and so I assumed that you were one also since your userpage looked similar to one used by a spambot. I`ve reversed the action, and sorry for the inconvenience. Ajraddatz 03:32, 16 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you![edit]

Incorrect revert[edit]

You reverted something I did here https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Extension:ParamProcessor&action=history

I forgot to log in, and then approved it using the approval thing. Did you not see the later? --Jeroen De Dauw (talk) 20:23, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

That edit removed a whole bunch of content without any justification for doing so. If you are going to do that, it's a good idea to leave an edit summary to let people know that there was a reason for the removal. Ajraddatz (Talk) 20:33, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
