User talk:Ah~mediawikiwiki
Hi Andreas,
thanks for your extension!! I want to put the link in the top of the page instead of putting it in the toolbox.. Thanks for your assistance and help.
Regards
What does it mean when you get an Error; warning header cannot be processed....? with DirList?
i followed the directions correctly, ive installed many extensions so i do have the hang of it ....could you maybe offer any explanation as to the error?
Thanks
Dan Paradis
Hi,
i don't know exactly what you mean with the link. There is a link for each file in a row of a table.
can you post the whole error message? maybe you have blank lines in the DirList.php file outside the "<?php" tag?
Regards Andreas
Regarding the status of PDF Export Dompdf[edit]
Since I have all but taken over the extension, would it be OK with you if I at least toss my name in as a co-author? The version you released was a bit buggy. I've not only fixed those bugs, made it compatible with newer versions of MediaWiki, and added a header/footer feature, I've also been providing support for it in the Talk page.
I'm just going to put myself in there as a co-author. If this is a problem, let me know and we'll try to work something out. Cool?
Hi,
of course thats OK. You did a good job!
Thank You Andreas
DirList output[edit]
Hi, first off, great work on DirList Extension, works like a charm. I am only missing one thing: some kind of sorting function. If possible via a mode switch within the <dirlist> tag. In order to sort by name, size or date in the produced table. Would be great if you could help me out!! :D
Regards Christian
- Thankyou very much for the incredibly fast implementation!!

Help![edit]
We are having some extreme problems getting this extension to work with MW1.16. In some cases, a page is generated, but the graphics do not appear. In other cases, the page hangs and times out. Originally, we were getting a %PDF error, but we increased the memory for this operation and that killed that error, but now it just hangs. Any suggestions? Prodoom 19:51, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
PdfExport_headfoot.php[edit]
PdfExport_headfoot.php requires $pdf to be initialized. But, the rest of codes never initialized $pdf. So, it does not work. How does $pdf gets initialized?
Dirlist and PAGENAME[edit]
Hi, I like to add a dirlist listing to a template.
Each page created using this template has an additional folder with the same name where data should be stored
Thus, I tried to combine dirlist and pagename
<dirlist sortby='name'>../../wiki/public/{{{PAGENAME}}}</dirlist>
but I always get
""../../wiki/public/{{{PAGENAME}}}'"" not found!
PAGENAME is not resolved. How can I enforce the magic word pagename to be resolved first and than handed over to dirlist? I tried hard to find the answer using google, etc. but I was not able to find the answer or the proper keywords to search for. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Georg Weinhold
support for this use case was added in version 1.0
New version of PdfExport including your DomPdf work[edit]
Hi Andreas,
I recently updated the main PdfExport extension to include a couple additional backend PDF generation options including PrinceXML, MWLib, and your work on DomPdf. I went ahead and added you to the author list on that extension page as well. Hope that's okay. --Cneubauer (talk) 15:32, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi, of course that's OK. Thanks for your info. --Ah
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Ah. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Ah~mediawikiwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
