Objectives for This Week
What I hope to do this week. (Check next week's report to see how I did.)
Write docs for key Title class methods (inc. getLinkUrl(), getLocalURL(), getFullURL(), getInternalURL(), getPrefixedURL())- Make plan to update the docs (inc. flagging what user docs need update) for the 1.17 release.
- Sync the API docs with the embedded documentation in the API.
Take another edit pass on Security for developers and friends.- Improve resource loader docs.
Polish first level of developer docs linked from the main page. How to become a MediaWiki hacker, API, Manual:Extensions, etc.
Accomplishments for Last Week
How I did on reaching my objectives for last week:
- Update FlaggedRevs developers docs (using info from pairdoc session with User:Aaron Schulz)
- Improve resource loader docs.
- Write docs for key Title class methods (inc. getLinkUrl(), getLocalURL(), getFullURL(), getInternalURL(), getPrefixedURL())
- Make plan to update the docs (inc. flagging what user docs need update) for the 1.17 release.
- Sync the API docs with the embedded documentation in the API.
- Update maintenance/Makefile and maintenance/Doxyfile to enable call graph generation in Doxygen when a suitable dot processor is available (see mediazilla:26404)
Bonus Accomplishments for Last Week
I didn't plan for these things, but I still did them.
- Setup new computer and virtual machines for testing.
