Hello!

not ready

Hi! Nice that you visit my user page!

I'm always happy when someone comes to visit me! I just want to introduce myself to you...

My name is WuffiWuff2 and I'm a Wikipedian from Munich, Bavaria. I once found my way into the internet and thus also into wiki editing through Wikipedia. I can still be found there today (see here). I am also active in other projects of the Wikimedia Foundation, such as Wikivoyage or as a Media-Wiki translator. I can also be found at muenchenwiki.de (see here). In addition, I also work a lot in my department for shortwave radio technology, as you can also see here in my work on the UTDX Wiki.

Thank you and see you then!

Traffi_WP - A person with many facets![edit]

What, shall we say, is special about me is that I have a lot of hobbies. Here's a little insight!

  • First of all, there is wiki editing! That's why I'm here in the first place!
  • Another hobby of mine is shortwave radio. I am totally fascinated by this beautiful old way of gathering information! On the one hand, I like listening to the big international radio stations (such as Radio Romania International, with whom I am very friendly, but also, for example, Ö1 International) as well as the so-called utility services. These are technical radio applications of military and amateur radio origin. I am currently preparing my amateur radio certificate in this area. I work for the broadcasters on behalf of the working group of German-speaking short-wave listeners (ADDX for short) and I also regularly write reception reports!
  • Public transport has impressed me since my earliest childhood. It all started in elementary school, when I always read the MVV timetable during the breaks and was able to recite every S-Bahn and U-Bahn line by heart! That's not a lie!
  • Music is another creative area of mine. I've always been interested in the deep tones. What could be more obvious than playing the double bass? That's exactly what I do! I've even composed my own pieces...
  • I've been playing chess sporadically since elementary school! Here I am in the chess club Germering and have a DWZ of 976.
  • Sitting at the computer is fun! What I like best here is working with the office programs that I learned to love at school from my old math teacher. My math teacher, who accompanied me from the 6th to the 10th grade, is a very big role model for me! His motto was always "First mark, then act!"...
  • I also really enjoy recording stuff. My very first recording was the poem: "Christkind came into the winter forest. The snow was white, the snow was cold...". At that time I performed it for a Christmas party for the second class and practiced it using the recording. Long years of recorded learning words, Latin, English and ancient Greek followed, until I came up with the idea of speaking as a hobby. I'm doing it now and I'm having a lot of fun!

I turned this hobby into a mini job:

Sailing
I've been sailing around on the Ammersee for about 8 years. First I was a student, then I got my sports boat license and I'm now an official sailing instructor for adult courses.

I have made this hobby my main job:

Railway
I've been playing with trains since I was little. That's why my job at Deutsche Bahn is a great pleasure for me, which I always pass on to the passengers. My motto: "Isn't it great to enjoy life to the fullest?"
