I do not have a project idea at the moment. I am willing to take up a challenge that the mediawiki community puts up! I have good expertise in PHP, Mysql, HTML, CSS. I have four professional certifications to my name.

About you

Computer science Graduate student in University of Minnesota, Twin cities. During my course, I have read about a dozen research papers on wikipedia, published in CHI, WWW, CSCW and the wikipedia research in my university is a big motivation factor. I have three years industry experience including 2.4 years in IBM.

I have also researched on social networking inside wikipedia for my semester project [1], where I studied the implementation, effect and feasibility of social networking in wikipedia.

Past open source experience

Currently working on porting an open source application [2] to mac OS X.

I have been using open source products for a long time but I have never participated or contributed back to the community. Better late than never, I wish to contribute to open source and I am very excited about it.
