Shanika is currently a 4th year undergraduate in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering of University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. He is doing his final year research and development project in the area of "Automatic Text Summarization".

Shanika plays Table Tennis and chess and interested in Rugby and cricket.
