About my coding experience

Internship at Microsoft IDC, Hyderabad(May-July 2013)

Project : Integrating Athena into the Bing Local PBA Stack.

I Implemented a mechanism for publishing data in a new domain in Athena and generation and consumption of new signal using this data to take blocking decision in Phone Book Answers (PBA) component of Bing.

Internship at Bookadda.com, Bangalore(May-July 2012)

Project : Bookadda Facebook App.

Implemented server side opcode caching(using APC),browser side caching(using minify plugin), identifying and optimizing the bottle neck queries, adding socialism features etc. Also implemented a tracking mechanism in the email newsletters

Projects

• TripNote : A simple application that helps you to plan trips effectively. This was in submission to Google Clould Developer Challenge - 2013
• Sliding puzzle solver : Developed a puzzle solving agent program which won 2nd place in AI game development in Cognizance 2013
• Mentorship progamme : A platform for tutoring the current students of IIT Roorkee by the alumni of the college.
• I have coding experience in C, C++, PHP, HTML, JS, Jquery, CSS.

Information Management Group(IMG) :

I am the Chief Management Lead at Information Management Group, which is student body in IIT Roorkee responsible for development and maintenance of internet and intranet applications in the institute, including the website of IIT Roorkee. I have built applications for alumni networking namely Alumni portal and Mentorship progamme. Unfortunately however, I cannot share the code of these applications since the code officially belongs to the institute. We , at IMG, are the guys who've made the CMS for managing the large amount of content on the college website and developed a great intranet portal for the institute; Photos. Some More.
