The most programming languages are based on English keywords. Outside of the latin script system there are a lot of other scripting systems. There is a aritcle in the English Wikipedia about Non-English-based_programming_languages. From my point of view it would be great if there are possibilities to run bots in the Wikimedia projects and in general in Mediawiki instances without deeper understanding of programming and of English or the latin script system. From my point of view it would be great if it is possible to contribute to the Mediawiki Codebase also with a basic understanding of programming. Logic and structure are from my point of view easier to understand as complex syntax. So it could be that at the moment people are excluded from contributing to Mediawiki because they dont understand the syntax well enough but they have a basic understanding of Logic and how to write code.
