About me
I am T. Ebenezer Rao, a software and application developer with a strong interest in open-source technologies and community-driven innovation. I enjoy building practical solutions that solve real-world problems, with a focus on clarity, usability, and long-term impact.
My primary interests include application development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, backend systems, and Wikimedia technologies. I actively contribute to open knowledge platforms through documentation, media contributions, and technical workflows, while continuously learning about scalable systems and collaborative development practices.
I am a Core Team Member at WikiClub Tech SHUATS, where I work closely with students to promote open-source culture and technical learning. I am also a Core Team Member of Google Developers Group (GDG) Prayagraj, supporting community initiatives, events, and developer outreach. My goal is to grow as a responsible technologist while helping others discover and contribute meaningfully to the open-source ecosystem.
My work
Technical focus
My work spans full-stack and application development using C++, Python, and modern web technologies. I focus on building reliable backend logic, APIs, and data-driven features, working with SQL-based databases and structured application workflows. I also develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, with attention to performance, usability, and maintainable code.
Alongside development, I have a strong interest in UI/UX and graphic design, including vector-based design and visual system creation. I work with tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva to design interfaces, illustrations, and community assets. I actively use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration, and I follow open-source best practices for documentation, code review, and iterative improvement.
Community & mentoring
As part of WikiClub Tech SHUATS, I mentor university-level contributors on Wikimedia technologies — including Gerrit, Phabricator, MediaWiki extensions, Toolforge, and cloud services — to create sustainable, community-driven developer circles.
