  1. Go to Special:Preferences (e.g. https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:Preferences)
  2. Click "Editing"
  3. In the dropdown labelled "Editing mode" select "Show me both editor tabs" and Save
  4. Go to the article you want to test and click "Edit source"
  5. In the source editor, click the "Syntax highlighting" button to enable Code Mirror
