Thought experiment for a menu trying to keep related things together. The documentation is currently scattered all over the place and seems to be focused on technical categories rather than telling users how to get things done.

Content Models and Handlers Summary: MediaWiki allows for page content models other than wikitext and offers core support for javascript, css, json and plain text. Extensions can use the ContentHandler mechanism to control how these content models are rendered and edited.
