Android Product Manager, Product Department, Wikimedia Foundation
"Don't just say you have read books. Show that through them you have learned to think better, to be a more discriminating and reflective person. Books are the training weights of the mind. They are very helpful, but it would be a bad mistake to suppose that one has made progress simply by having internalized their contents." - Epictetus
My background is in user experience, product management and product strategy. Working on software that has such a positive impact on the world is a dream come true for me.
In my spare time I'm a historian with a deep interest in the Middle Ages, especially the Crusades.
I am product manager for the Android app. The Product team's mission is to develop tools and experiences that improve Wikipedia and our sister projects for our hundreds of millions of readers. This includes desktop and mobile web, as well as the official Wikipedia Apps for Android and iOS.
If you read Wikipedia (or one of its sister projects), we are building for you!
