Smallest unit of word diff is two words, and the diff would display that the word after was removed and reinserted if only one word was added.

I just added a word to a topic () and when I checked the differences it showed that I removed the word after the new one and re-inserted it together with the new word, although I hadn't touched the other word.

This is expected, if a little weird. The smallest unit it displays is two words.
