When I use a ref tag with group, the editor shows the extra diffs.

Even though the preview shows the correct text that no extra reference is at the bottom of the page with Template:Reflist with the group option, the diff feature seems to not emulate this behavior perfectly.

Thanks for this note. I haven't figured out the best way to reproduce it. Does this happen when you edit the ref contents (e.g., to change the date or fix a typo in the source's title), when you add a new group="Name" to the ref tag, or every time you edit the page?

I only checked the case adding a new ref tag (with a new diff). I would try to make a more detailed repro for it, later.
