I would like to make the translation of a company article from english to Spanish, but it's on hold due to a blocked user (Luzma8737cuellar) who started the translation before. Any solutions?

The user is only blocked in the Spanish Wikipedia, and seems to have been active on Commons and Wikinews on the 26th (see https://tools.wmflabs.org/guc/?by=date&user=Luzma8737cuellar). You could try to contact him/her elsewhere like the English Wikipedia, and get him/her to delete the translation.

Alternatively, you could copy the English article you want to translate into your subpage on enwiki and translate that. No grey links appear on the subpage, but you can still start the translation from the "new translation" button inside the content translation tool.

As the very reason he/she got blocked is publishing machine translations without modification, I think there won't be much harm in taking the latter option. However, it would probably be desirable if you can publish it before his/her block expires (but don't rush of course; avoid doing the same thing as the blocked user).
