Currently when clicking edit on a template, the TemplateData header appear some 0.5 or 2 seconds after the edition page is shown, making scrolling down the editing area. The effect is that when trying to mouse-click on the edit area, we instead click on the button that appeared while clicking.

Please, fix this problem and reserve some space for the extension header before it appears, so wiki editors can click on the edit area.

Do you have this problem when you use Safemode to edit the page?

Yes. I have the same problem when using safemode=1 in the URL.

Which wiki are you editing at?

I'm editing on fr.wikibooks.org mainly, but it occurs on every wiki projects.

It happens everywhere, and there’s already a Phabricator ticket for it. I uploaded a short screencast demonstrating the issue on Phabricator.
