Session hijacking

Whatever I do, I cannot login, with error message "There seems to be a problem with your login session; this action has been canceled as a precaution against session hijacking. Please resubmit the form." By now:
The wiki is https://meta.wikimedia.org/

  1. Used cookie clean page;
  2. Used restored temporary password & old with same result
  3. With either new or temporary password there's mentioned error.

Any ideas?

Me Too. Thus, I'm not logged in and it's only the IP.

I'm having the same problem. Cleared all cookies, changed IP address, rebooted, different browser, everything.

What does one do to get this sorted? the original issue was raised a month ago and no solution! I have to post this anonymously 'cos I can't log-in and I'm part way into loads and loads of image uploads to Commons ...

I'm going to suppose it is a temporary issue, as I can't login either with the same issue.

I was experiencing the same problem but now I managed to log in;

  • you need to clean up all the data stored on your browser for that website (meta.wikimedia.org)
  • avoid to copy & past your password
  • you need to write all the password one time without leaving the window

I hope this can help
