Translations assistance?

Hello, Mohammad! I hope you are well, in these difficult times.

I see that you have good experience helping with translations on this wiki (thanks!). I was wondering if you might have time to help with the translation of some materials for a QuickSurvey that we plan to run in 2 weeks? If so...

The main request is for help with the 6 short questions, and their answers, that are stored at Reading/Web/Desktop_Improvements/Quicksurvey-20-01.

In addition, we need this string at Translatewiki. (If you don't already have an account there, you can just tell me the translation and I will copy it across)

There is also an accompanying privacy statement at Reading/Web/Desktop Improvements/Quicksurvey-20-01-privacy

Much thanks for anything you do to help with those, and thank you again for all the content you've already translated here in the past! Best wishes.

@Quiddity (WMF) Hello, Quiddity! Thank you for your attention! I'm honored with this request. The translations are done and I'd ask @Arian and @Huji to also take a look to verify them.

Please note that there aren't direct words for "overwhelming" and "welcoming" in Farsi therefore the nearest words were used.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

Kind Regards.

The translation on Translatewiki is accurate.

As for the translations on Mediawiki wiki, you are correct that there are no direct translations for some words. However, I am going to change a few of your translations to what i think is a more appropriate alternative.

Great job overall!

@Quiddity: one more note: the last item ("The questions are written in the masculine gender, but the survey is intended for people of all genders") should only be shown for languages with gendered pronouns (e.g. English). FYI, Persian is *not* such a language, so that item should not be shown altogether. Just in case it is not possible for you to hide a question based on the language, I have modified the Persian translation to read "In the English version of this survey, the questions are written in the masculine gender, but the survey is intended for people of all genders"

Thank you very much, both!

@Huji The survey will be delivered via Qualtrics, so it will be possible to exclude that optional sentence. Thank you very much for being so clear though!

I hope you both have a lovely end of week.
