The Original Barnstar
Wow--you did an amazing job on Global templates, especially devising the proposed specification! It is very well thought out, well-structured, thorough, sufficiently detailed, yet still easy to read. It is hard to believe that English is not one of your native languages. When I need to refer someone to a great piece of technical writing, the proposed spec will be my new go-to paragon. If there were a Pulitzer Prize for technical writing, I would absolutely nominate you for it! Libcub (talk) 06:03, 13 December 2019 (UTC)

O wow, thanks a lot :)

Despite your praise, I do welcome you to challenge it in any way possible and find things that might be wrong. And please tell your friends in the English Wikipedia and in all other wikis about this.

(About English: I used two weird tricks to make it better. The first was to translate the whole long thing into Hebrew, which is also not my first native language, but it is the language I speak to my family and friends most often, and I have a B.A. degree in it. As I was translating, I also changed the English text along the way: if a technical text is hard to translate, it may also be hard to read to in the original language. The other trick was to use LanguageTool.)
