I have left an article untouched in Content translation for half a year and now I want to restart the translation. As the loaded version is outdated, I once published it in my sandbox and tried restarting the translation. When restarted, however, the old and uncompleted version which I made some months ago and alarmed that this might be outdated. In the other situation, I deleted one of ongoing translation and restart it, but only the old version appeared. How can I renew or clear all information of my old information?

The sandbox or any translated article will ever have a latent liked connection. I suggest, to delete the sandbox when finished use of if. You can start any translation and change behind the gear botton to publish as personal draft. Then the translation will be published in Your personal name space. Then edit the articles manually and copy-paste needed sections to the target article. When finished, due copyright of editors, request an import or set the import mark to refer previous editors work.
I wrote "sandbox" as the personal draft. I mean, I want to reset the translation "in" Content translation. I've published some articles before in the way you suggested, however when making a huge article, filling diff manually is too troublesome that I thought it's meaningless to use Content translation tool. I just want to clear the data in this tool completely and restart the translation. The way to publish is not the main subject.
This would require a bidirectional translation tool, which even synchronizes sections. AFAIK this is too complicated. It would require linking equivalent sections and sentences first and store this information. This may affect also contributing to articles. Complicated, but not impossible by digging the revision histories. It would be still a developers job, in far future, if followed the suggestion.
Is it so difficult problem? For example, the ongoing translations are deleted if it had been left untouched for a year. If you want to try translating that, you can start it from clean interface. So it would be possible to clean like this manually, I think...
This is a question for a developer. I'm not involved, but there is software on the market, to identify or suggest similar meaning or sections or sentences automatically.
