Most of the articles exist in more than one language, and it is common that there isn't one better than the others. They can all be equally good, but at the same time be lacking information that the other ones don't. Or they can be better in some parts and worse in some others. In that case they just complement each other.
My proposal is to make it possible to modify two articles at the same time. Instead of creating a new article with the translation, using the tool to compare two articles and just change the parts that need to be improved based on the other article.
It would also be useful to notify of every change made on a topic in any language, to update all the articles at the same time by translating the original change.
This would simplify the process to improve the quality of the content. Currently, updates are made by each community individually. With an improved tool and notifications updating would be a one time job for every community and all the work left would be translating that update.
