Topic on VisualEditor/Feedback

During editing en:Dhul-Qarnayn, decided to duplicate the opened ?veaction=edit tab. Processor usage suddenly jumped up and the page I was editing through the VisualEditor froze and then crashed. Even after refreshing and hard-refreshing any Dhul-Qarnayn?veaction=edit page still keeps on crashing. VisualEditor works fine on other pages and for Dhul-Qarnayn too in incognito mode.

Spent a few hours on the research and editing of that article, any possibilities of recovery? Already checked browser cache, required data appears to be absent.

Update: After this event, Chrome updated to v78.0.3904.97; relaunched browser, however the ?veaction=edit page still kept on crashing. After some time, the page finally got loaded with most (but not all) of the edits recovered.

I'm glad that most of the edits were recovered. If it happens again, then copy/paste (before you close the window) sometimes works.

Unfortunately, copy/paste was impossible because of the browser tab being completely frozen (not responding).🙁
