Kindly explain why you rolled back [[Special:Diff/3274666|this edit]] of a translation. Rolling back good faith edits without an edit summary discourages new editors and creates an impression of exclusive ownership contrary to the wiki philosophy. Perhaps I violated an accepted practice on this wiki? I rarely edit here so I'm unfamiliar with such practices, but I saw no rules or instructions guiding editors. As it stands now, however, the translation is inaccurate (though not in any major way). Some of my edits were merely stylistic choices, I admit, but at least two idiomatic expressions are translated literally, yielding awkward English with an unclear meaning. Those changes, at least, should have stood. Unconventional (talk) 12:09, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi. The language changes seemed quite arbitrary---mainly, and merely, a change for change's sake, which that page/translation does not require. Your edit summary did not include any indication of improving a translation, and the original text is not unclear. Still, if there are actual translation problems feel free to fix them.

Thank you. I will indeed make some of my edits again, with a more explicit edit summary, because there are grammatical and usage errors in the English, and also because idiomatic expressions should be translated idiomatically, not literally. It seems evident to me that the translator was more familiar with Spanish idioms than English ones.
