1. Page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki_1.18 uses two ways to access the release notes and one fails because the oldest notes are no longer found in //phabricator.wikimedia.org but present under //Gerrit.wikimedia.org . This last could be the only url.

2. Page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Release_notes Links 'Git' of the table are no longer defined for versions < 1.23

A universal (? Gerrit.wikimedia.org) way to find the Release Note should be proposed.

REL1_18 branch was removed. Now it only exists the individual release tags. Basically, you need to know the latest release number of a version instead of the generic major version:

Yes 1.18 is just an example of called Mediawiki page referencing the Release Notes. T188084 is ok and my subject fits  Happydog comments there. Thanks.
