Topic on Talk:Content translation

I have just translated the article Versatile_Video_Coding from English Wikipedia to Cantonese Wikipedia. After I published the translation, I found that the interlanguage link cia wikidata was not done automatically and I have to manually link the translated article to wikidata. Can that be fixed?

When we experienced these issues in the past, it has been a caching issue where the link gets added finally with some delay. If you experience a different issue in the future where the link does not get added after several hours, please share the article with us and we'll ping the Wikidata team to investigate this further.
