That's not how the Translate extension works. Translation unit numbering is only being added by the extension itself and new stuff is always added without unit numbering even though the messages may be identical. In this case we still get separate translation units. However the translation suggestion will inform about this for easy copying.

No worries. It took me over a year to get accustomed with the Translate extension. :) Anyways it is a pretty cool extension though looks a bit scary at the beginning.
