It is really great to hear that Content Translation is considered to be potentially useful for projects other than Wikipedia. I agree that it makes perfect sense to support better the translation process in wikibooks and wikisource.

Each project has its own particularities in terms of content (e.g., different templates) and workflows, and we need to consider these before integrating the tool. For now, our focus is to make the tool more robust (you can read more about the plans for the new version) before expanding the scope to more projects. Once the tool is stable we are definitely interested in exploring the support for other projects as next steps. If you have feedback on the particularities of those projects to take into account when adapting the tool there feel free to share them. That will be very useful to plan these future efforts.
