1. Install Extension:Replace Text
2. Globally replace [[Category:MyCategory]] for some blank spaces or blank lines.
   1. This extension seems to fail if you leave the 'Replace text' box empty.
3. Done

There may be other methods.

Any native or extension method to mass remove pages from a category?
