Abuse filter problem on Chinese Wikipedia

We keep hitting an ‘Abuse Filter’ when trying to publish on Chinese Wikipedia – doesn’t seem to matter if it is publishing to live space or the draftspace and we’re finding a lot of good Featured Article translations take 3,4,5, even as many as 8 attempts to publish because they keep hitting the abuse filter and all sorts of warnings that they are posting unhelpful edits to Chinese Wikipedia when really they are doing anything but.

I don’t believe it is the subject of the article that is the issue – just that the abuse filter is too highly strung that it rejects good content as well as bad. Currently, we are trying to publish the Overman Committe article from English Wikipedia to the personal draft space of Chinese Wikipedia but it won't allow us to do this at all.

What do you think? Anything we can do here?

This is something that must eventually be resolved by Chinese Wikipedia administrators who maintain the AbuseFilters in there.

The subject is usually not an issue for AbuseFilter. It works mostly according to certain strings in the articles' text, and other conditions such as username, number of edits, the time since creating the user account, etc.

Which message do you see when you try to publish?

Hi Amire80, I'll email you how we got round the problem.
