Is it possible to add the incategory parameter to the search options? I read this feature is among the not planned ones, since it brings noise to the search results especially in WMF projects. Anyway it would be a very useful feature for smaller wikis. What do you think?

As noted on that page. Incategory doesnt behave as most ppl expect it to behave in that it doesnt take into account subcategories, which just makes it confusing to most ppl. As such it was decided to until the subcategory search problem has been fixed.
