Issue

It is impossible to read the actual page name with very long page titles because it is limited by the input box size.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:RecentChangesLinked?hidebots=1&translations=filter&hidecategorization=1&hideWikibase=1&target=User%3AContraexemplo%2FOutreachy%2FDaily+notes%2FDecember+2017&limit=50&days=7&urlversion=2
  2. Look at the input box

Expected

Whole title is visible or there is a visible way of seeing more content

Actual

Part of the title is hidden. The user needs to know that they can use the cursor to see more

Possible solution

  1. Make the input box as large as long as the page width (or close to that). Subpages can considerably increase the maximum page title.
  2. Make the dropdown as larger.
  3. Add a tooltip that shows the full page title when hovering over the input box

This has been fixed on beta already. You should see it live on wikis next week.
