I wanted to translate Jousting to Czech. After translating the first two paragraphs, I thought that could be enough for a start and I could extend the page later. I clicked publish and got a wierd error full of xml tags about some achtung image... Could you just switch the validation off? It really does not work properly and makes the tool almost unusable.

Skip the not existing templates in the CZ project. When whole sections not appear correctly in the translation tool, I recommend You to copy for backup already translated sections to You local computers editor and delete the translation in the translation tool. Then go to the English article, remove the all disrupting templates and comment "temporary change for translating the article". Publish the changes in the English article and beginn the new translation. Make some changes in the translation and when autosaving has completed, revert the temporary change in the English article. Then continue with the translation, restore already translates sections and set the wikilinks to the articles in Your destination CZ project. Thank you for your reply, however, if your system is made in such a way that you need this much text to explain how to publish two paragraphs of a translation... As a programmer often working with GUI where UX is very important... change the system.
Also, my question was more about the wierd error full of xml tags. I can read xml and I still did not understand what that error meant at all. Someone should look at that, an error should tell the user exactly what is wrong in the most straightforward way. I feel that a clusterfuck (pardon my language, but it fits perfectly) of some xml is not really the error message I want to see.
It seems to me having two windows open, English on one screen and new Czech on the other, is just a better way of translating than the translation tool. Which is a shame, a dedicated tool should make translation easier. Not the other way around.
