The new experimental diff seems to work great, with a few issues:

• For non-wikitext pages it doesn't keep the line numbers, although this is lower priority because the default diff software is generally superior for such cases except for moves of large sections.

It also seems to have cases where the changes aren't visibly highlighted:

It might be a good idea to generally hide the full text below whenever the visualdiff is being used to reduce the time it takes to load the full page (whenever it becomes the default)

Generally, there seem to be quite a lot of good test cases to evaluate the visualdiff versus the wikitext diff here:

Overall it seems to be a major improvement.
