Automatic translation doesn't work
Hello, what languages do you use ? Can you specify the title of the article ?
I'm translating some pages from English to Italian.
Why don't you try the GoogleTrans gadget which interfaces with the Content Translation system and allows Google machine translation while keeping the HTML. You need to make a private version of the GoogleTrans gadget in the destination wiki common.js file of your user account. Then select a paragraph (or part of a paragraph) in the middle column of content translation, and then press the CTRL-ALT key at the same time. Consult for help on how to do this. It works for all the languages that Google translates so I'm pretty sure it will work for Italian.
Is it possible to use this gadget to do translations from German to Italian also?
I believe you can, you need a private version of the gadget on the destination wiki, please consult the link I have given above for help on how to do this
