Since the beginning of the CTT Template:Cite book was mapped to Vorlage:Cite book, and all was fine. Just minutes ago I translated a new article and must see that now this was redone to the ill-programmend Vorlage:Literatur, which does not distinguish COIns and other metadata sufficiently.

Please remap Cite book back to Cite book.

This is so annoying, was the German Vorlage:Literatur lobby mafia does all the time. Now they're activly disturb users!

Hi,

The Content Translation software (also known as CX) uses the interlanguage links (defined as Wikidata sitelinks) to find the mapping between templates. As I am writing this, the English Cite book template maps to the German Literatur template. Before April 18 it pointed to the German Cite book tempate; here's the change.

This is not an issue in the Content Translation software, but an issue that must be discussed by the editors of German Wikipedia and Wikidata.

Technically, Content Translation will work well with any pair of templates that are connected using an interlanguage and have correctly written TemplateData or identical parameters names. See Content translation/Templates for the technical documentation.
