I know it's not the right place to ask such questions but the pornographic content became almost everywhere in all wikimedia .so is there anything i can do, like URL filters or tolls i can use on wikimedia that would blocks all porn images or even videos

With all due respect, I do not care at all about what you`re working on. I want to know approximately when this thing will be working again because I`ve got a ton of articles to translate. I don`t translate articles for fun.

Hello, thanks for your work. As my opinion (just mine), the developers will be able to re-enable the tool during next week (the problem come from server test switch, that return to the normal config the 3th may).

Wikipedia is also losing a lot of activity these days because Content Translation is one of the most used tools inthere (in my opinion...).

it's this feature that keeps me logging everyday. now im completely disappointed specially when they lied about bring the tool back to work in three days. now four days past but nothing changed

We've to follow procedure and make sure ContentTranslation doesn't affect other Wikipedia features and day to day operations! All your work done so far will be preserved and available once tool is back.

From looking at the "Translate" page of an attempted translation and the notice currently displayed at the upper right of this page, it is quite unclear what is going on, so I wish the indicators were more clear. Either it's disabled for some reason or I have insufficient "privilege" to work on the translation. Unfortunate, since I'm reading about the topic now and it's unlikely I'll be motivated to return to the article later on.

Probably should add it as a new topic, but I wish the translation were colorized on a variable granularity basis so that I could more easily track the corresponding words, phrases, sentences, or passages as I'm working on the translation. As the joke goes, details available upon polite request (but my prior visits to Wikipedia have mostly convinced me that only certain people need apply, and I must not be one of those people). (Nothing racist or sexist. Probably just a mental thing and my problem that I lack the right kind of narrow focus. For example, right now I'm wishing for the dual icon display of the names of the people who have commented here: An avatar for self image and a radar diagram reflecting reputation as a wikipedian.) ~~~~

You can work on the translation. It doesn't require special privileges. Only being logged in and enabling the beta feature.

Didn't seem to be possible for me that day, and though I thank you for your prompt reply, I've already forgotten what article I was interested in translating to English (from Japanese). Thanks for your attempt to help and I'll possibly try again soon. Now reading a similar book, so it might come up...
